Wellness Dog Food Reviews
Most dogs seem to do really well on the Wellness brand of dog food. They have different flavors: chicken, lamb, and fish, so you can change up protein sources with a very short transition. I like their heavier than usual inclusion of cranberries as a source of antioxidants, as well as an aid in urinary tract health.
Wellness also carries a great line of canned food, most of which are grain-free. I recommend adding canned food to a dog’s diet, as it helps with long-term liver and kidney health.
The Wellness Healthy Weight formula seems to do a very dog job of helping overweight dogs lose weight.
The Wellness Core line is also one of my favorite grain-free foods. It’s not as intense in fat and protein levels as some of the other grain-frees, and most dogs do very well with it.
What My Customers Tell Me
Most people have had great success with the Wellness line of dog food. Their Wellness for Puppies food is especially popular as it has multiple protein sources (chicken, turkey, and fish.) Most dogs seem to like the taste of the Wellness foods, and stay with it for years.
