Natural Balance is a good choice for dogs with food allergies. They have a number of “limited ingredient” diets that cut down on the number of ingredients used to help dogs with food allergies.
Their Sweet Potato and Venison formula is very popular right now as many dogs have not been exposed to venison before, so therefore, they shouldn’t suffer an allergy to venison. They also make duck, fish, and bison formulas in the limited ingredient diets, which are also very popular.
Natural Balance is a great choice for what it does, though personally, I prefer to feed dog food with a meat protein as the main ingredient. The allergy formulas have either potatoes or sweet potatoes as the main ingredient. That being said, if you are having allergy problems with your dog, Natural Balance does make a great choice.
Their limited ingredient canned dog food formulas are excellent choices for canned dog foods, and are very fairly priced.
