In my experience, dogs that do well on Innova dog food, do really well on Innova dog food. They have two basic flavors, a chicken/turkey blend, as well as a red meat formula which contains beef and bison. I would recommend starting with the chicken/turkey, then alternate from time to time.

Some dogs do seem to tire, or get bored with, the chicken/turkey blend after a time, so alternating will probably be required at some point.

Innova dog food has about every ingredient you can think of in it, so it seems to be a very “rich” food for some dogs. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, this may not be the best choice for you because of all the ingredients.

You’ll definitely want to feed less of this than the previous dog food, especially if you are transitioning from a grocery store bought food. You’ll want to take your time transitioning to Innova, and a spoonful of plain yogurt, or some Holistic Transition will probably help.

The Innova Evo line is an excellent grain-free option, though it is very high in protein and fat levels, as compared to other grain-free options. If your dog has weight issues, the EVO Weight Management formula is an excellent grain-free choice.
