Rad Cat Frozen Raw
Rad Cat Frozen Raw
I had a real problem with my cat spitting up undigested kibble all over the house, so I wanted to add canned food to her diet to help (not to mention the other benefits for adding wet food to a cat’s diet.) She would tire of canned foods after just a couple cans, so I was kind of left frustrated… with stained carpets.
About a year ago, I tried Rad Cat frozen raw food, as my store just started carrying it. The results were almost amazing… and immediate. She stopped throwing up immediately, maybe three times in the last year, as opposed to 3-5 times per week previously. After about a month, she hit a whole new level of softness, and her coat became much shinier. She’s more active now, and a lot friendlier (she’s a lover cat now!)
I buy the Rad Cat in the larger tubs, and defrost them enough to split it into separate containers, and refreeze. I feed about a teaspoon twice per day and let her have a bit of kibble. Use defrosted food (keep refrigerated) within 3 days or so.
Rad Cat is pretty nasty looking, as it is simply ground meat and organs, but it does not smell. It is raw food to take your proper precautions with raw food, wash the dish, etc.
Honestly, I can’t recommend Rad Cat highly enough, it’s great stuff.

RadCat has become my favorite for my cat, too. I feel they are small enough to have great quality control (and customer service) and my cat loves their food!
The RadCat folks recommend a “healthy” 1/3 cup twice a day, so I’m surprised to see you only use a teaspoon or so at each feeding. I’ve always thought the amount they recommend is a little high, but my little cat scarfs up every last morsel.
I would highly recommend this food to others who are as fanatical as I about feeding their cats!
I know I’m doing the absolute best for her.
I one hundred percent back both comments, and my cat was the exact same as the first comment. My kitty had food allergies and then suffered a bout of depression when her companion of 12 years passed away. The vet suggested baby food to get her eating again, which worked, but i decided to try a couple brands of raw just to see if she would like it. Ii tried RAD and INSTINCT. She liked the instinct well enough, but after trying rad, she won’t touch any other food. extra super bonus, her pee and poo don’t smell AT ALL!
